My Methods
1
Eye Movement Reprocessing and Desensitization (EMDR)
EMDR is a type of therapy that helps people deal with traumatic memories. During the therapy, the person thinks about their traumatic experience while doing something that involves both sides of their body, like moving their eyes back and forth. This process has been shown to make the memories feel less intense and emotional over time.
EMDR is a well-researched therapy that has been proven to be effective for helping people recover from trauma and conditions like PTSD. Studies continue to show that it can also help with other issues, such as anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), chronic pain, addictions, and other difficult life experiences.
In short, EMDR helps people process and heal from difficult memories by combining focused thinking with a type of physical movement.

Internal Family Systems
IFS (Internal Family Systems) is a method that views every person as having different parts inside them, each with its own role. Some parts are protective, while others may be hurt or wounded. These parts can act in extreme ways because of past experiences, but at the core of everyone is a true, unhurt “Self” that can guide healing. The idea is that our minds are naturally made up of many different parts, and that's a good thing. Think of it like a family—each part has something valuable to offer, even if some get stuck in negative patterns.
IFS is often used in therapy to help people understand and heal these inner parts. By connecting with their true Self, individuals can better understand the needs of their parts and help them heal, creating a stronger sense of connection both within themselves and with others.

Wellness Coaching
My wellness evaluations and coaching program takes a holistic approach to health, focusing on the 8 dimensions of wellness: emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social, and spiritual. Designed as a preventative care method, the program uses annual checkups to assess and maintain overall well-being before more serious issues arise. During the evaluation, I identify any areas where your wellness may not be ideal, whether it’s feeling stressed at work, struggling with physical health, or needing more social connection. If any dimensions are out of balance, I work with you to craft a personalized, goal-oriented plan to get your wellness back on track. By addressing these areas proactively, the goal is to avoid long-term therapy and instead build lasting habits that support a healthier, more balanced life.
4
Personalized and Private Yin Yoga
An individualized Yin Yoga plan is carefully tailored to address your specific symptoms and wellness needs. This practice focuses on long-held, passive stretches that target the deep connective tissues of the body, helping to release tension, improve flexibility, and promote a sense of calm. Each session is customized to align with your unique goals, whether you're looking to reduce chronic pain, manage stress, improve mobility, or enhance emotional well-being. By considering your body’s specific needs and any areas of discomfort, the plan is designed to gently support your healing and long-term wellness. Through this personalized approach, Yin Yoga can help you create balance, release physical and emotional blockages, and cultivate a deeper sense of mindfulness and relaxation.
